Engine code & Gearbox

Hi guys, just bought a 96 mk3 2ltr 8v gti, and im after a gearbox, not desperate but its just stiff going into first gear... (maybe its a clutch issue, or linkage?? im not sure yet)

I know the engine code is AGG, anyone know what box matches up to that engine???

have a look at the sticker on the body that gives all the info i think the box code if its a rod change is 020 or cable 02A, not sure though
