2010 Plans!

What are we hopimg do our cars this year?

Mine are

1 - get the front down an inch or 2 and poke the rear more



2 - Get my R32 mirrors on (they are a bit smaller than normal ones for those that dont know)

3 - Tidy up my dirty diesel engine. Plan is black engine with pink Samco hose's, Hide or move a few things. and fit S3 battey and washer/header covers.





Lets post up what we want to do and see how much of it gets done, in my case im guessing not a lot

Awesome if i do it lol. Got a price and a sample of the hoses from Paul at Regal. I will get a photo up

if i keep the mk1 get the rear arches done full body respray and new wheels
hopefully ill get it done been quite lazy recentaly lol.

Lower it, GTi interior, sort the arches, new bumpers... and at a push maybe another set of wheels? Hmm...

mate pink hoses, should look amazing against the white.


Im gonna get them bbs's on the bora and get sum leather going inside. And then im gunna get my arse into gear with my mk1

Finish and fit my wheels ,restyle the front....dont ask its a surprise then hit the shows and enjoy the driving......in September take it off the road, fit 4.2 audi V8 and running gear shaker scoop . add an A6 grey leather interior and dash, 3" roof chop, suicide rear doors, airide, Two tone grey and black paint with pinstriping......all the old custom tricks on a modern car......back on the road for easter.....i hope......

GTI Front Seats
Full body Respray, rust welding
Coilovers
New wheels, being HTN KS's shame they cost near £1700 incuding tyres
Sublte Boot Build
Degreased Bay
Have webber fully tuned

SO yeah a fair bit i plan to have the respray and coilies before July when MOT is due
As well as the boot build degreased bay, GTI seats and webber tuned :/

HTN are serious rims

Re-paint roof, due to a reaction in the paint
Replace seats with fresher ones (swapped sum fabric over and steam cleaned them all) just need to bolt them in
Re-paint bumpers (get rid of all scuffs)
Re-paint wipers (done)
Amp getting repaired as we speak, so need to get that in, an install new Headunit.
If i've got time might pop over to the wheel medic to get sum kerbing marks off my wheels

not many plans, they seem to change evey week....

basically

re-paint the car.....again
Lower.....
new wheels.....
new seats.......
new engine maybe??? see how funds go.....

....same old same old

Lets all get everyting done in time for all types then.

Here is the sample of pink hose i had sent

I've finally finished fitting a new bathroom in the house so I can start getting the Golf ready for the 2010 shows !

New engine to go in, with a bit more go
Smooth and respray the engine bay, hide wiring remove battery etc.
Fit new interior, Doorcards and carpets.
Touch up a few bits on the outside - Front panel, rear valance and sort out where the arch spats glue has ruined my paint !
Refurb the brakes and fit new bearings.
Notch the chassis for more lows upfront.
Few more bits to buy if I can - Rear lights, grill and trim, steering wheel.

Busy times to get it all ready for All types !

Need to sort the sounds out for the loop and fit the old school mini roof rack somehow! will bodge something up! smaller wheels and new interior if i have the cash! any other suggestions?
