All types 2009 (better late than never lolz)

Didnt take many snaps last year, and most of the ones I got were poopy but huge amount of post production made a few acceptable. Will try harder this year i promise. Anyhoo enjoy

General question about Mk1 Golf, (in the pic above it's carbon fibre) but what is that strip that runs up the wheel arch?... Why?

Pianoman - Its called an Arch spat, there purely to protect the paint on the arches from stone chips chucked up from the front wheels. I did try running without them at first but the paint gets hammered. It then gets even worse if you run a bit of poke as the front arch does nothing to stop stones etc.

At least the carbon ones dont show the chips too much and saves me from respraying every few weeks !!!

Ah I get it now! ... makes sense! So that happens because you have fat wheels that poke out a bit towards the bottom?...

Give me yer email addy and i will send you the hi res. I love those carbon spats. Probably an easy and cheaper option than vw ones. Defo gonna have some carbon on my mk1
