problem again!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey was driving my car yesterday and then suddenly all power went and struggled to go and sounded like it was runnin on 2 cylinders..........
so aa came out found split fuel pipe so replaced that then started fine and was spot on for like 5 miles then happend again and got towed home, but while i was gettin towed it started and was reving fine, got to it today and it was fine started to drive it was ok for abit then did it again so pulled connections of coil cleaned it put em bk on was ok for abit again!! then went shit, i see a patern of soon as it starts to get warm it goes shit, could it be my coil? guy in work said coils can be shit when they warm up, just ordered a second hand 1 off ebay should have bought 1 new but havent really got the spare funds, hoping it will sort it out AGREE???????????????????

Apparently coils are quiet the problem on older VWs, surely a 2nd hand coil is going to have the same problems thou?

yeah could be mate, worth a try. its either the spark or the fueling aint it, how long before it will start again ?

and it didnt work still the same lol, was that little inline fuel fillter i put in, was stoppin the fuel goin through for some reason so i put a pipe from the propa filter to the carb and "BROOOOOM" hahaha smart de

must have clogged for a reason mate, aint no shit in the tank is there ?

took the fillter to bits there was no crap in it lol shocked i was i fixed something myself
