im thinking of a engine transplant 1 day,i thought of 2.0 16v abf with some work,but others say vr6 ,wich sound great but stupidly high miles.and ive bin told the vr6 is very heavy wich would make my handling bad.any sugestions? Very Happy

the vr aint that heavy, an set up proply it'll still handle really well, even in mk1's!

a worked 16v would be nice in an older lighter car but id go for the vr in a mk3, power an that sound Cool

wot about findin a 2.9 rado one?

id go vr, much more low end torque, ideal fr a car tht weighs a bit Razz 16v is all high revs
