Electrical Stuff

Gutted was driving the car to work and noticed a little bit of smoke appear from behind the steering wheel and didn't really think much of it. So came to driving home from work put the lights on and the bottom two dash lights are dead can only just see the speedo. Car is starting to show it's age and the interior electrics failing. Takes the list of failed electrics to three now, drivers side window dead, bulb behind heater switches dead, speedo lights dead and wiring to CD player dead. Poor thing is being a typical VW engine running sweet but everything around it failing.
