As you know my car has black exterior trim, but the rears has gone too far for back to black etc,so what do i do? new bumpers with fresh red and keep on top of the black or can you get a satin black paint for a spray gun (not cans lol)which id get a sprayer too paint professionally.it would be easier too colour code obviously but not sure lol.

i think the way to do it is to prime, then paint a black base coat, then add a matting agent to the lacquer. dont know too much about it to be honest, but i will have a word with the painters in work and see what they reckon Wink

agreed with the heat gun, not close though, turns em back to black, some ppl even say peanut butter is really good, the oil in it turns it black again but for how long i dnt know, plus u'll probably get dogs and cats licking your car all the time..lol

i wouldn't suggest heat gun treatment. ye it works short term, and does a good job, but long term, if you keep doing it, it'll fuck the plastics good style. they'll be white in the end!
