new to forum not to dubs

hi all just found your site after being directed here by slimothy. at the moment im looking hard for a lupo tdi to use as a daily (but it wont stay stock for long). i have been into veedubs for years (first vw show was bugjam in 1993!!) owned over 50 dubs including beetles, notchs, fastbacks, golfs mk1,mk2,mk3. caddy, polo, audis. not one was standard! and several none dubs too (some to embarasing to mention) .

i live and work between wirral and pwllheli as an maintenance engineer, but also work as an auto spark too specialitys include making wiring looms for classic cars (splits mostly) and race cars and tvrs, but can do pretty much anything electrical.

i was thinking it might not be a good idea putting what i do for a living on here yes i do alarms and immobs, not done many bike ones but cant be that hard whats the problem?

hey!!good to c u here sounds like ur knowledge of vw's is immense!am learning slowly so i may ( if u dnt mind) chase u up 4 some advice sometimes? no worries if not tho!....lookin 4ward 2 seein some of ur rides at meets and shows

no problem asking for advice i will always help if i can, been busy breaking my s4 at the moment so not had time to get the rivage on the road yet (needs a battery and a mot, only done 40k so should pass 8 ) the white cab is a bare shell at the moment so thats quite far of, and if i can find a good lupo tdi i will be busy with that. i have always liked the nothelle stuff i think the 3 spoke wheels they did, were one of my favourites.

will keep a look out for meets always good to get together with like minded people

ok finally found a lupo after several months of looking, one came up, bought it from a couple in the lake district who were emigrating its a black tdi and at the moment its totally stock. have no pictures yet but will post something up soon, loving driving it and cant wait to mod it

cheers im loving driving it, it feels well nippy and does 68mpg!!! without really trying, i would have loved the silver one but girlfriend really wanted me to get a black one (i hear they are better ) budget was also a consideration, no real plans as yet, just want to bring it up to scratch before i mod it, looking for cruise control stalk first (t4) might have a play with hypermiling just to see how many mpg is possible. (this is just an excuse to slam it to make it more aerodynamic ) will post some pics up in members ride as soon as i can
