Seat Ibiza Mk2 (6K) suspension
Sup guys,
Been looking at a set of Weitec Ultra GT for the biza. There set im interested in is the 60mm 60mm kit, but this is only available for the 93 - 95 years. They make a set of 60mm 40mm for the 96 - 99's, but that just wont hackit on the back :p Are there any known differences in the ibiza mk2 suspension going thru the years?
P.S dont really want el cheapo ebay coilovers

They had a facelift in 1996, I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong put the 93-96 shape used Mk2 Golf susp. and the facelift used Mk3 Golf bits. To be honest I'm 80% sure they'll fit either or.

Thanks mate, minute I know Ill click that magic "add basket" button How the weitec's holding up on yours..is it the same kit? Are u able to find out at work tomorrow wether the oem bits are ( face lift and non facelift)
Oh, and one more thing, think the engines a agg, does anyone know if the 1.8 and 2.0 have the same exhaust port shape, stud pattern and flange..cant find any manifolds to fit, but tempted to hackup a mk2 gti manifold if it will bolt to the head

The weitecs are fantastic in mine to be honest, best thing I ever got for the car. Yeh I shall check in work tomorrow for ya mate if the OEM bits will fit either or. I think the head might well be the same, people swap the Mk2 1.8 GTi head to the Mk3 for a better lift cam.
