1.8T or V6 4Mo yo?!

Hey guys! Sold my A3 to my brother for the 2nd time this year (he better keep it this time!)

So im looking for another VAG, been thinking about a few cars (another a3 1.8t, golf 1.8t, bora, leon... and so on and on)
With my budget, a cupra R, Golf R32, or S3 are out of my league so, ive been looking at the cheaper alternatives!

Seen a few nice V6 4motions about, with low miles that fit right in my budget. BUT, the only thing thats putting me off the V6, is the fact that theyre not as tunable as the 1.8T's. My old a3 1.8t was kicking out 220bhp, the V6's are 204bhp?? plus 4wd witch in real world would make them abit slower through loss of power through transmission?? (i.e, my A3 was a bit quicker than a standard s3 with quattro)....

I know the V6's sound nicer, and are rarer???

any sugestions??

tough call, get more easy power from 20vt, but vr6s just sound soo nice

but if u gt an a3 20vt quattro then tht wd be epic, basically turn it into an s3 lol

Yeah, im sort of leaning towards going back to the 1.8T simply because of its tuning capacity! KO4 turbo and FMIC... drools.... lol

The V6's cost more aswel, ive noticed

The A3 quattro's are very expensive for what they are, and its only when its raining that i really felt like id needed the 4wd in my mapped A3.

even standard a3 tubos dnt liek rain, sum reason hils nd raind = imposible climb lool but thts just the way i drive lol

Stick a set of 18inch wheels, 225 tyres with good tyres and the wheel spin isnt too bad! But u live in blaenau so uve got a bad combo of hills & rain! lol

e im rolling on 18s 225 now for a while actually u saw me rolling on sily standars hahha

the hill by llandrillo colege is were i spin so many times, soo slipery lol
