Xbox 360 red ring repairs?

Anybody know anybody that repairs the good old red ring of death on a 360. Theres a few places online that are like £70..i'm looking cheaper than that?

Free tip, leave just the power supple in. Lay a towl on the floor. Cover over the 360. Then wrap with another towl and turn it on. Leave it for ten mins, fifteen mins at the max. Ring of death will be gone:p if not my mate can do a cheap fix for about a tenner. Did it to mine 6months ago and still fine.

the towl works .. also check if the power supply is pushed in properly after moving it, had that happen a couple times!, a lad in blaena does it cheap if the towl doesnt sort it

theres something to do with pennys aswell, have a look on ebay, my uncle fixed his this way, raise the motherboard or summat, aids cooding

the towel trick is a temp fix really as it will go again pretty soon. the soldering on the xbox is crap basicaly, so when you wrap a towel round it it overheats and re-maked the solder connection. This fault has at-last been taken notice of by xbox, who now have a 3 year warranty whith the ring of death. a guy i done job for in bodffordd does it. havent got a number for im tho sorry.

I think theres a guy in my work that repairs em ill have to have a word wen im back this week
