Hi everyone,

I've just offered my MK3 1.4 golf for a MK2 driver!

the person has replied and seems pretty keen!

should i do it?

my golf has 92K on and a new gearbox and headgasket.....but the mk2 has 200+K but has had all the work done to go through the MOT....BUT IT'S A MK2!!!! in tornado red!!!!

It's aa difficult time......! Laughing

They'll go forever if you service them regular. Read about an old PSAT that had nearly 600k on the clock in a mag the other day.

If it does go tits up them engines are cheap and easy to come by, and easy to change.

If your shells solid on the mk2 then go mk2, if it's looking sorry for itself then dont waste ur time and keep ur mk3, it would take a lot to make me want a 200+k mk2 man
