Choices choices...

Ok boiiis need some help
I'm bored of the passat and want something a bit different
been looking at MK2 VR6's Gti's and MK1 golfs but a MK1 is out of the question.

So,who can recommend AND find a few examples of their recommendations?
MK2 ABF seems to be a good choice so far
VR6 will be thiiirrssssty
and a G60 just wont happen (cost and insurance costs are mental)



failing that its a 205 GTi 1.9 Twin webber 45 pug

ohh and no silly links that are millions of miles away,dont run/need work/no MOT/No tax and that cost a bloody stupid amount either

my old mk2 gti 8v was really good on fuel, not the quickest but shit it was fun!! i went to birmingham and back on 3/4 of a tank and thats with the speedo not working...hahaha i was overtaking beemers and jags on the outside lane, and had those huge 9" keskins on,

Jill i know they are thirsty cars,but as i said it wont be used every day,train to work then weekend for driving so the cash i save on day to day driving i ca blow on the weekend

The passat is fine,new coilovers are on and it handles like a dream,but its an estate car,its big,its heavy etc running costs dont bother me what so ever i just want a change after seeing some MK2 golf online the other day. I want something with character. The passat has none what so ever

Allways have wanted a MK2 GTi,i never actually wanted the passat it was an impulse buy. i saw it thought hmmm thats cool and got it.i dont regret getting it i just find it boring to drive
