Re: audi a4 tdi 115/140 help??
try find out the engine code on both of them, u can find out then wot there tuning capabilities are, like with the bora- they reckon that the PD130 is better than the PD150 for easy (not that expensive) tuning as soon as u re-map the 150 the clutch etc cant cope resultin in more expense, whereas the bora tdi with 100bhp would keep up with a standard mk4 gti , probably the same with the A4, hope this helps (maybe just a little bit anyway, lol)

The PD 150s chew camshafts for a joke, they MUST be run on the correct oil for life, even then with the torque they still snap 'em!

The 2litre TDi engines havent had the same reliability as the 1.9 (my 1.9 Passat did more than 300,000+ miles) PD engines have had a rebore with the same crank and could give head gasket problems, oil pump failure on early versions and havent they changed the cambelt schedule to every 40,000 miles?

I would definetly go for the 130 bhp, simple things like an EGR bypass kit and a remap will make it fly! You can even get a shudder valve bypass kit from allard now which will improve induction even further.
