Wheel advice Empty Wheel advice

Post  beckyboo Tue Nov 15, 2011 5:49 am

I'm currently looking for wheels for my polo 6n2, I found some Rota Grid V in white which i think looks sick but Driftworks (the only place that sell them) have ran out of stock in white.
I really want these wheels but not willing to wait until Jan for them so the colour options are;
Gunmetal with a polished lip
Black
Bronze
I'm swaying towards the black ones but not sure if the compliments the wheels enough as the white.
Any advice on what you think would be appreciated.

I've bought some Nankang tyres, (NS2 195/45/15) if that can tell you what ones they are. They'll leave a nice stretch on the wheel anyhow Smile.
Cheers but i've just ordered the black ones now, Driftworks said they've ran out of the white ones and wont be getting them back which is a let down! Really did like the bronze ones but i didnt see them on the polo. So keepin it simple atm with gloss black Smile
So hopefully my little polo will start looking like a real car with some decent wheels on it Smile

you could always paint the black ones white?

195? Shocked i think you mite struggle getting them under the arches unless you get a lot of arch work, camber, or the new wheels have a rather high ET. personaly would have gone for 185-45s or even 165-50s to make life easier Very Happy

165-50's on a 8" is the way, just dont leave them in the garage overnight with 140psi in them. Otherwise you'll wonder why the strip light that was attached to the roof of the garage is on the floor Smile
